Hey everyone, this one doesn't make a whole lot of sense unless you sit and think about it for a while..And I'm not sure it even makes sense then, but I think that's why I like it so much! Comments are always appreciated!

The wind hits me softly
As I stand at the waters edge
Thinking of days and nights gone by
And feelings left unsaid

Quietly the water laps
Against the sun kissed sand
Reflecting its gentle turbulence
Against a chaotic land

The aqua water cleanses the mind
And heals the troubled soul
Where literal no longer makes sense
And incoherent expression makes you whole

Silent things have become
As if seen though a mirrored glass
Philosophy construed, turned inside out
Dusty seasons left to pass

Fluidity of motion
Like the delicate wings of a dove
Show grace of majestic beauty
Imagined in those we love

Problems go to heaven
Solutions go to hell
Wronged was a world perfectly right
The first night darkness fell

So through the imagined picture we see
Distant lands afar
Left to bleed in symphonic misery
Imploded like a blown out star

But for a moment of space
A subject of time allotted to me
The weight of the world is lifted
And for a second I am free

People always ask me why I don't look toward my future I tell them to many interesting things are happening today.
~Bella~

Well I apprciated your honesty in saying you wrote this piece for yourself, and for that alone you got my vote.  That is what poetry is - a definition of oneself.

Thank you guys for the comments! Noah, I have posted this one before but since I wanted it to be in the book I decided that I would repost it in here.

This is well written...sometimes those fleeting moments can really help us through. Nicely done Bella.

This poem is very understandable, and very well written. I enjoyed it immensely.
