The sun has shone today upon my open heart This journey moves my soul along a crescent ridge Twinges of eternity that take a boundless chart To lead me wander to the ebb before a shimmered bridge There to greet me gleefully the footpaths set ahead For I have followed footsteps echo in the softened soils Bowed in reverence to the waters and the skies be led Take my leave and enter where Nye illusion boils The fire of the heart will guide the blindest eyes For now to rediscover what of value could traverse This journey never ending as in rest my body lies Across the gulf of separate worlds into the sound immerse Copyright Kkh 12/31/02 |
