It's hard to pick up and leave everything you've ever know and freedom never comes easy as I well know. Congratulations for the courage to leave a hurtful situation and the strength to go on. I left a abusive marriage of 17 years 4 years ago on Jan 5th, my birthday present to myself(Jan 4th is my birthday) and although times haven't always been easy, I've never regreted my decision.
