With tears and heart aching, baby, I so miss you Knowing I, you feel the same, missing me too We know of this, to be prepared, when we're so far apart Certain though, are we, always close in heart I know you're here with me, as I am there with you Distance will never take away, love between us two Always close together, we will ever be Looking all around, the other we will see Feel, my dear love, don't you feel me near Forever in our hearts, our love is true and dear If you will but listen closely, in the still of night Hearing my whispers in winds breeze, shhhhhh, be real quiet On a clear nights dark, look in velvet sky Bright star sparkling, is loves twinkle from my eye When closing our eyes, Sweetheart, as we meet in our dreams I'm right there, you're here with me, oh so real it seems This we must do, if we're to always cope Until together again, never we must ever lose hope My Love, I love you...... Yeah, it makes us sad, too, Marti. We hope we can be together permanently in 2003, too. The times apart are so hard. My parents (Dad, especially) are the reason we aren't already married. My eyes are green, too. inkedgoddess, Actually, whether it works or not (I think), depends entirely upon the couple and how much they love each other and are willing to work at making it work.  (tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Ethel, you always seem to relate so well to how I feel, what's heartbreaking to me is that I never lost hope then I feel all a sudden robbed, like some pirate has infiltrated my ship and left a hole in the mast and I become like Tom Hanks in the movie Cast Away! (sad sigh) I wish for you and Gary to always be together and for you to close the distance with a golden smile, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! Ethel, I know you miss Gary. But your loneliness is so sweet, and then you write those poems, and you make it better for others who miss their loved ones. I prefer to love my familly from a distance. But that's just me. Never be normal! |

Hi Liz  You know what though? I believe I could write about all the good things Gary and I could be doing if we were together all the time, and places we'd be going and everything. Now, it's mostly lonely stuff I write about. But, if it helps someone else to cope, I'm glad of that. Thanks, sweetie, for your reading and replying......
