Help me save a life today I cannot say its worthy Its filled with shame of shadows past And dark and dismal dreams Its lost its grasps from the Iron Rod Its lonley and in need It hangs upon a silken thread Weary and afraid The struggle seems too great too hard The road too wide and long Faces pass without a glance No smile nor a wave No thought for folks less fortunate No worries but their own A word or two could ease the pain A smile would help indeed So if by chance you look my way Help me save a life today Music is the language God used to create the Universe |

You have conveyed a sense of loneliness and need most convincingly. A fine piece of writing… and once again, welcome to PIP. |
