There he is again on one of his Binges where if you were want to put a name to it you would really call him more Insane than not and even Though no make that If I wanted to, it is literally Impossible to reach him He colors Reality to suit his viewpoint and I I am always stranded in the Middle with naught Else to do but close my eyes against What I cannot bear Alone and Pray and Wish that He could intervene.... if only He could and would speak words for my ears to grasp hold of not just ask that we lean on the Faith that he is actually Up there and that all of This must surely have some higher Purpose And I cannot stop from asking If he really does know all then how can he be silent and watch this insanity happen? But Quickly I choke my inquiry lest it grow into Iniquity [This message has been edited by jellybeans (12-27-2002 05:35 PM).] |

Jellybeans--you have captured it perfectly here... I often find myself wondering the same things... Why is all this happening? You have summed it all up in a very different, but meaningful way.. BlueEyes |

Before I had a chance to respond to your email, I read this... and I'm just floored by your ability to pick the words that make the poem, distilling drops of gold from the flood of emotions. I'd be impressed with the poem regardless... but with knowing comes the amazement. *S* |

Sometimes we do wonder why all this is happening....expecially when we ourselves can do nothing to help the situation.... "Love makes the world go around" |

great poem indeed-you've captured perfectly the feeling of helplessness that comes with the realization that some things are simply not within our control--enjoyed! "And it was at that age...Poetry arrived in search of me...And something started in my soul." |

JB, I asked you to write more and I almost missed this one, one of your best. This is incredible writing. Very heartfelt. It is insane, and they are. I'll not forget that hounding question: "why", asked one thousand times, or more. I can tell you it gets better. It will pass. You hang in there. Please keep writing, you are many people's voice. With the warmest regards and many hugs, Pat ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |
