She whispered... I wasn’t sure...reading into this might... Well...you know....or do you? I sat there, a flush rising through me as I thought of the word....I know I heard it, or was it her eyes? Ahhh, the coolness of skin that turns suddenly warm....as blood rushes through veins...as passions built......yet wait... wait to see if the eyes still hold the answer.. Look into my eyes, show me the answer that my veins say is true....Do the eyes echo my own? Or....is the image I see that of myself.... A gentle breeze flows into the room, a curtain stirs slowly....suddenly I feel the presence of a hand upon my chest. I reach to touch.....yet nothing is there.. A dream perhaps? Let me sleep, that I might hear the answer to the sparkle of blues....That I might sing a lover’s song as a melody shared by two.. As two become one.... And one lives eternally in endless dreams whispering........ Yes! |
