 Across the land the tumbleweed rolls Roll, tumbleweed, roll Because the winds are blowing so Roll, tumbleweed, roll Some longneck chimes are clanging blows Roll, tumbleweed, roll Because the winds are singing so Roll, tumbleweed, roll The winds are brisk, a storm sets sail On the waves, a pirate’s gale O’er the grass the winds shall gust And I shall roll because I must Roll, tumbleweed, roll The wires sing a soulful tune Roll, tumbleweed, roll All the tumbleweeds line up soon Roll, tumbleweed, roll Across the land the tumbleweed rolls Some longneck chimes are clanging blows The winds are brisk, a storm sets sail I wish my love a hearty hale Roll, tumbleweed, roll. |
