I am no more than pebbles strewn along a barren, lonely beach, though what wisdom I do possess, I try my best that I might teach. In many ways I am used up, the physical, of life’s retreat. Age tends to do that to us all, like Thanksgiving without the meat. It’s Christmas day and I’m at rest, the physical, but not the mind, like car at idle, standing still. One day, myself, I hope to find. The weariness of life’s travails tries overthrow the sensitive, to harden who I’ve always been, but I refuse, it’s how I live. There is no ear to hear the cry of forlorn voice, of broken toy, of man who struggles to survive, while in him weeps a little boy. |

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Michael, my heart goes out to you, know you are loved by us all so much and the little boy in your heart is always there, you just need to hug him! (wipes tears) My thoughts are with you this Christmas, sweet friend, God Bless You! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

Michael, Survival is the name of the game for many of us. Though broken, we are not beaten. Heart hugs to you and that weary child within...or, especially to him. I know what you mean. Such a touching poem; I think you captured how many feel, at one time or another. God bless. Love and hugs for the coming new year. Pat ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. Michael...The little boy in you is getting a big hug right now from the little girl in me. Perhaps it will make them both smile. |

Through smiles or tears, the child in us exudes its utmost on Christmas Day, doesn't it? Well said, Auguste - Merry Christmas to you and yours... |

When the child cries...all of nature in silence listens. Hope your holiday was deep and warming, as your wise and honest writes. Smiles from ThisDiamond |

Michael, my dear friend......the spirit that is Christmas is always shining in that big heart of yours. And believe it or not, a lot of us here are idling in neutral as we get older, but this site gives us the power to shift into high gear, and take each other on passionate rides!!! Best wishes and loads of good thoughts go out to you this Christmas from me and Music Maker!!!! Pen how you truly feel... it is a safety-valve for the soul! How lovely to see this here today, though sad the sensitive soul's words left. |
