God’s Christmas Tree By: Paul Wilson There among the stars and clouds Beyond sight of mortal man This tree embraced by the crowds Softly the music began Angels singing in harmony They all came to see God’s tree Pictures on each limb for all to see People of all ages adorn Gods tree Voices raised in sweet refrain Joyous times in God’s domain Angels gather round God’s tree There sits God with babe on knee Mother Mary on top you see Adorning highest limb on God’s tree A Special place for all those saved Their road to salvation Jesus paved There sits Jesus by fathers side No scars from cross to hide A golden halo now replaces thorns For lost souls he forever mourns Angels gathered round the tree Watching pictures come to life you see God stood up and wings were given To all that died for now they are living Forever Angels fly you see From God’s Christmas tree ~~~ " To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you " [This message has been edited by Paul Wilson (12-24-2002 10:07 PM).] |

Serenity~ Thanks for taking time to read. Meter...I didn't know I was studying it, really...If I have any meter in here it is by accident I assure you, but feel free to help. I would like someone as yourself or Balladeer or any knowlegeable person to check out another post "Starting Over" and really let me know what you think about. That's the one I was asking the question about in Q&A last night. Thanks for your kind words and for your friendship these past few months.
