"The queen bee" by: hayden james The life of a connection, Measured by memoirs of Infinite bliss and abyss-like fissures Somehow contrasted to equal present. Yet, who can ignore the altitude We’ve made with wings joint in Constant fervor of passion. Patience… A quality made distinct with you Despite my sheer nature… Never a constant shelf for your lay. Yet my most treasured moments Always seemed to orbit round you. Your warmth, like the sun Seemed devoid of end. Then, the cold did set in… As I frolicked in search Of self, in neglect of you. Till one day, the keenness of your differ Left my difficult mind astray. Humbled by the effects Of your one-eighty degree sting. For your lance penetrated A determined heart through. Still, some things are never forgotten Just like the aroma of a scented candle Blown out by your lip’s breeze. I’ll Get your lips… you scratch the match. My poetry is at: http://www.thehayden.org |

Whoa! Love the ending. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |
