So many wonderful friendships have been made here due to Ron's Carnell's generosity in building, funding and maintaining this site for us.  These are only a few pictures I had of some of them.  If you have a photo of a poet meeting of members you met here, add it on we would love to share them. I think one per comment or you know who will have steam coming out of his ears ROTFL

Perhaps we should start a "Family Album" forum for pictures in the New Year called, "Friends Meeting Friends?

I believe we are given friends
To accept the real of whom we are.
These friends can lift our spirits
Even higher than the stars.

It doesn't matter where we live,
Whether poor or loaded with dough,
We've learned to love each other
Connecting by our heart and soul.

I believe we are given friends
To give us worth in how we live,
By being there for each other,
Taking much less than we give.

                                         

Internet friends can be angels,
Who will fill your heart with hope.
They offer love and laughter,
Suggesting ways in which to cope.

Each one so very individual,
So very different from the rest.
I love them all for their qualities,
And not one more than the rest.

I thank God, for my internet friends,
For they mean the world to me.
We all know we are forever friends,
’Cause that's the way it's supposed to be.

Ron, I want to thank you for the fact that I know you are there "somewhere" making sure this is a safe place for a family to all post or read together.  That is a wonderful thing in this day and age.  And I wish to thank you for giving me the opportunity to meet some of the most wonderful people and get me motivated to travel to go meet them You are a GEM!  Merry Christmas - you are the MAN!

Sharon this is a wonderful idea and hopefully next year at this time I will have my own pictures to share of friends made here at PiP.

Ron, thank you for this place we call 'home'.  It has helped so many people in so many ways to have Passions to come to and share not only our poetry but our inner most feelings.

I firstly want to thank you for welcoming me to Passions with open arms nearly two years ago.  I knew this was a special place right from the beginning and people like you are such an inspiration to us all.

Sharon, this is absolutely wonderful...
I don't have any pictures to share, either, but I certainly
enjoyed looking at all these from my "family of friends".....
I know that I say that a lot to all of you, but I truly
mean it from the bottom of my heart. You have all made
me so welcome and feel so much a part of this wonderful place, that I would never be able to express myself the way I would like to

And, Ron, I pray that all the love, friendship,
and joy that you have made possible on your beautiful

Hey you guys are wonderful to have jumped in to thank this wonderful man.  He does all this out of his own pocket (and the expenses I am sure are great each month.)

I see folks from all corners of a great big world on here, and that sure says what a small, and easy to get along world we could live in - just look at our little world here.  I think not only has Ron given a safe haven here for all but supplied a working example of what a good world it truly is

Oh I am a smiling ear to ear - what an absolutely fantastic picture of two of my favorite people.  This is a perfect photo of two forever friends to tie up Ron's Chistmas thread in a bow.  The kindness in those eyes are what make this site what it is.
