You are beautiful in the crystal light of day
etched in the frost of my thoughts
where you glow in sharp slivers
and hard truths that make me want.

To touch and see through frozen iridescent icicles
that simplify the season, pictured on a postcard;
you are the reason without knowing
and all the beauty if beholds.

For every star that's fallen
I have wished upon and wondered,
if you could read my mind
I would place them in your hands
and fly the world over

just to reach you and admire.

On a happier note...
I think I've written enough bluesy stuff
to last me a lifetime...
If Santa cooperates I'll be sporting
