Alright, this will be some free form poetry, just spewed from my brain as I'm typing, not exactly sure where I want to go with this, but I have a few ideas, so here goes, hope you enjoy.

Merry Christmas she said
Before taking my head
In her hands and kissing me
Softily she sighed
As I touched her I cried
Cause I knew soon we would part.

Still there's the fear inside
Hesitating I hide
Wondering if it could be
I am willing to try
I'm just hoping that I
Won't end up breaking her heart.

Well, there it goes, I hope it was decent enough, I know I'm not much of a poet, but hey, art just reflects life and things, so it accomplishes what I wanted it to.

Keep spewing, Jessie. Some of my own personal favorites have been spontaneous combustion poems.

Jesse,

This was wonderful...she must feel very lucky to have someone who cares so much about her.  And I'm sure she feels the same.

Wow, this is beautiful, both in love and in uncertainty.  I certainly wish I were the girl you were writing about!

I'd not seen your writing before, but very much enjoyed it.  I'm also curious about your "handle".  For me, Diff EQ also prounounced diphycue is Differential Equations and wondered if you were a mathematician.  Just curious.  Ken J
Hope you write more often, I've found this a very supportive group.
