An Influenced Gesture

Maybe I wanted her
She was what I needed at the moment
A convenience to my desires
The fact that she could love me
Did not cross my mind
What did…
The way she had moved
Like smoke blown across the room
As she lingered with her hand in her hair
And her hips hitting every beat
The eyes of inhibited desires
That flexed bedroom fantasies
Throughout the distant mind.
So I let her be
Watched as she took the power
From every man that approached
Sexier she had become
With every gesture of not tonight.
Like the next guy
I could have sworn she was smiling at me
But the difference between them and me
I was drinking a bottle of water.

If I have never welcomed you, then welcome to Passions. This is the first time I've read you. I love the descriptions you use in this. One thing..it begs for the rest of the story to be told, because the bottle of water just suddenly makes it seem off track.
