Simmering In The Shade

I love the pressing
heat of the sun
but prefer to sit
in the shade
so I can chase
your shadows
arranging them
in simple bouquet
where the hostas
and foxgloves
bleed with
hearts all aflutter

"Don't let the mistakes of your past be the journey of your future."
