Rodger...Each passing day with you distances the pain of the past and brightens the future I can now clearly see. The scars are now less visable; the fear fading in your light. Thank you for these two years together and in advance for the many years to come. One question lies unspoken on this Valentines Day: will you be my Valentine?
Love,
Ruth

Satiated

While oatmeal lay
congealing in bowls
on the kitchen table
we lay together
under cool sheets
gaining sustenance
only from each other

As the rain fell
in rivers outside
inside safe and warm
we drowned
in tides of passion
collapsing
in one another’s arms

And to the soft sound
of distant windchimes
we moved
in a rhythm all our own
until satiated
we drifted off to sleep

~ Ruth

If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Ruth, your gorgeous poem brought me to tears as I am so happy for you and Rodger and I know you will share so much more happiness together always! (big hugggsssssss) May the whispers of love and the heavens always seethe through your heart, as home is where the heart is:

God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ruth, thank you for sharing, and...

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Ah, he said yes, right?
Remember...if he doesn't, you just give me a call...

This is beautiful, hoot... if Rodger ever forgets how lucky he is, let us know... we'll be glad to remind him. *S*

Happy Valentine's Day! *S* Since his answer HAS to be yes, I'm guessing yours will be! *S*

Oh Rodger, wherever you are, the answer is "YES!".  Sad and lovely...especially how you wished for "tides of passion".

Ruth, this is very beautiful and sensual. I know that Rodger loves it, too.
Happy Valentine's Day to you, too....
