Fairly new at this writing thing.Kinda just write in paragraph form and dont know how to edit it to well yet...always can use some advice o)

I see alot of great words written in here. Kudos to you all and keep it up. Gives me something to read at night.

Heading for bed, my pillow is calling my name.

Happy Valentines Day Everyone....

*************

an unchanged past

I want it to be the way it used to be,
when it was just you and me.
All we needed was each other
and nothing would stand in our way.

Staying up all night,
talking until the sun rose.
Thousands of miles away,
ive never felt so close.

Listening to your voice over the phone,
reading your thoughts to me.
I never thought simple words
such simple words could be so comforting.

Simple words that didnt have to mean a thing,
you sat and read to me.
Over the phone is where i fell in love,
in love with someone i could never have.

My heart i knew would never let me love like that again.

If i only knew then what i know now
things might still be... between you and me.
Would i have been able to change the past?
Go back, try and fix the wrongs,
could i maybe have made things last?

Please god I dont want to grow old alone.
Give me someone ill always be able to call my own.
When i call her name, i want her to be there.
In the middle of the night, i want her to be there.
At my last few hours, i want here to be there.
Standing faithfuly next to me, always there for me through eternity.

Noah - Thanks alot for the very warm welcome and kind words!

And id also like to add that you are the most uplifting & joyous person i have ever met! If everyone had 1/1,000,000,000 of your spirit this world would no doubt be perfect!
