Humor

Humor is a dance of sense.
The parry of a common blade
Where sometimes in a lunge offence
The touché will turn cascade.

It stems within a field of flight
Where fancy plays upon the loon
And touches something out of sight
That brings about an acts buffoon.

It bridges on the sans absurd
The bouquet of odd debris
The wrinkle of a slippery word
The serve of tea without the tea

And sometimes it’s a loaded gun.
And sometimes as fragile dew
Full of foot stamp and fall down fun
That evaporates in your view

Reception is a flirt with mirth
A barter and well worth its worth

Barter away,
and fill that teacup...
with raspberries, of course!

Stinkylove, your wit and wile always makes me smile..and with CLEVER lines like these...
and that closing couplet of cool...we know you always just "get it".

Where sometimes in a lunge offence

The bouquet of odd debris
The wrinkle of a slippery word

and these....these are Randys lines

That brings about an acts buffoon.

Hmm. Got me started with the first line.

It's amazing I won. I was running against peace, prosperity, & incumbency.

(sigh) I think there truly is both a beautiful and hurtful side to humor, depending on the pretext and context of it, where if its for good moral it is such an enlightening medicine! (big hugggssssssss) I love this, sweet friend, yay, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

What would we do without it... or you? *S* Both are so very important to living rather than merely existing. *S* I liked this very much, Seymour! *S*

Always a pleasure your poems, Seymour!
