Master of Deceit,
You taught me too well...
You said I could have anything I wanted
If I played my cards right.
But by your teachings
I have played too well,I have even beat you
With my disguises
That no one can see through.
You gave me the tools to create my masks,
To hide myself from everyone
But I took things a step further
And not even you noticed
When my true thoughts became hidden from me.
The walls are stronger now,
No one can get in
But does it really matter?
Yes I've slipped as far to say
"You don't need to bother
And I don't need to be"
But, my former master,
You forgot to factor in the one thing
That'll break your many masks,
The one thing that can shake you to rock bottom:
Pain.
