~* His Poetry Voice ~ Thunder *~

Out of the darkness lightening strikes
Lighting up a coal purple sky
Leaving a blue-white flash in my eye.

Mesmerized I stare upwards
At God’s charges of electricity
Amazed by the wonder, beauty and simplicity.

In such wonder I stare as it darts and dashes
In no particular pattern or chosen direction.
Some watch it, still others will seek protection.

A spectacular bouquet of neon flowers
With bright snowy blue-white open petals
Creating a light show of flickering metals.

Then in a blink of an eye, as quick as a wink
It is all over and gone from sight
Now dark shaded hues replace that brilliant light.

Soon we are to hear the leftover remnants
As you almost hear words in a loud thunderous rumble.
I think it is God’s way of keeping us humble.

He reminds us he is the one of power and true strength
Speaking through all of nature’s wonder.
His quill dipped in lightening, his poetry ~ thunder.

(big hugggssssssss) Exactly! He is the true Lord, NOT Bush. I have lost so much respect for him recently just as I think he has failed to realize that and I only hope again our leaders can be redeemed and embrace love rather than hate through diplomacy! (sad sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, I pray urgently for relief, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sharon, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

This one is among your best!. Almost as amazing as the lightening itself. Very descriptive passages with an important theme interlaced.

Sharon, this is just about the best poem I have ever read. The power of your words should stop everyone in their tracks. We all need a reminder of who's in charge.

Fabulous message and powerful picture. I love Michael's picture also.

Please, send this off to our president.

"In God We Trust"

Thanks everyone - you know I almost got scared again over Code Orange, and realized if I was afraid to live today now that was the real worry.  An old prayer came to me that is used by so many organizations that is forgotten by those not in any "organization" of well being.  It is called the Serenity Prayer and it goes like this:

God, grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference.

Amen

definitely one of your best and also one of my favorites of yours.
A wonderful message and so beautifully expressed.
I just love this.
