I dare not say from what depths this came from...

Future Love

Hey, future love, where are you?
And why aren’t you here with me?
Don’t you feel me waiting?
Just how long are you going to be?

I won’t tolerate the absence
I need you now, not at some distant time
Don’t you sense my need?
Don’t you want my rhythm and rhyme?

I am tired of waiting
Come give me what I yearn
A partner for dinner and movies
A love from which to learn

Hey, future love, I’m so tired
Of a cold bed, and perfect sheets
I want your arms around me
I want a love that completely depletes

So, my future lover, partner and friend
I stand, impatiently tapping feet
Hurry love,
And stop being so damn discreet

I love this. I can imagine you tapping your toe. Love will find you usually when you stop looking

Never lose hope. You will find that one who will sweep you off your feet and ride off on the white horse or at least decent car.

love your honesty susan. even when we're pretending we've stopped looking for love, we all are secretly doing our fair share of toe tapping!
lots of love, gemma xxxxxxxx

learning each day, for you and i, our paths have met, i've already learnt that you are love.

Susan, a very good write...but, I  really wasn't looking, (and neither was he), when my Love and I found each other. In fact, we became very good friends before we fell in love with each other.......

I thoroughly enjoyed this! I believe that every one of your female readers has experienced this at one time or another! With a winsome wit such as you have, I doubt that you will have to wait much longer! lol

Warm hugs,
EA

Gemjop-Without a doubt!

Toe-God, how I love your humor! McD's and Kmart are good, but just what would we do in the cemetary?

Dearest Sister-Don't you know its your love that helps me get through this life?

Garygirl- Oh, the stories I have of male "friends"!  Remember the movie, "When Harry met Sally"?  Harry was sooooo right...

EA- Thank you so much!

Toe,
Ohhhh...and that is exactly the depths from which I didn't speak.  How ever did you guess?
Time and exact location please.

Brad,

If you are trying to make me feel special, its working.

Susan
