Though my wall I heard your voice sincerely. I listened by way of the cracks that had lonely had left. The voice spoke of friendship and walls crumbling- I longed to hear more. I longed to feel a human touch. I took out a few bricks. We talked. Through the weakness in my defenses we touched. My heart leapt toward my wall crumbling an even larger opening, only to find you missing. A stranger was knocking and you had gone to let her in. You returned, stranger in tow. I left no trace of crack or blemish I keep my mortar ready. [This message has been edited by jellybeans (02-13-2003 02:34 PM).] |

Ouch. Sounds a bit crowded... with sincerity doing magic tricks and vanishing. As always, excellent write. |
