I scream the words,
harshness
against the softness of tears.
Hate is a horrible thing,
not within me,
yet the words erupt, leaving me
to deal with another year
of a meaningless holiday.

My friend, I know how you feel about the holidays. This is the way I am feeling. But, I tell myself, I have all of my friends here in passions to share it with.

It helped yesterday... I was told once by a Doctor that to scream out your pain in words is better than holding it inside to do damage to your health.

You would have wanted ear plugs around here
