In Your Poetic Mind

0 posted 2003-02-12 09:50 AM

{"Incase I can read his mind,
he dreams in his own language"}

I wanted to tell you;
      remind you of
blinding light,      angels
sliding,    until fires
of  night        break the sea

I glanced away:
I couldn’t understand
       summer rain   tapping
silent glass
   giving me time to think
while the world sails   on,
over harmony,   or how
clocks of stone time,
strike walls of nig
ht

I've never seen wild daffodils;
my imagination is kind

    I watch through    panes,
on such a day:
the pool   reflects
different memories
above water  --

time slipped by so fast

{sometimes}  like the mist
of rain  touching
    soft   embracing

upon earth

Dreams call my name
    with sweet abandonment:
deep and beautiful falling around me
from which season   are my eyes sad
in   horizons     sky

I       awoke     crying:
remembering the nights

I sing to life
To it's tragic beauty
To pain and strife
Let all that dances through me
The rise and the fall, I lived through it all

If this isn't poetry, then I don't know what is!

I know that everyone has nights like these.

Thank you.

It is poetry and excellent poetry at that. But nothing unusual from dear sweet Lauren. Nice. And good to have you here. Miss ya'.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

(big hugggssssss) I too remember nights like that, and it can be so emotional for me when I know they are jot real but they feel so tangible! (sad sigh) This is sadly gorgeous, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lauren, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Greeneyes - these nights come and overtake at times, but they pass with gentle words to read from your pen...

Nice flow, and powerful imagery.  Something there I could feel...sadness, maybe.
