Mother says I am obsessed But my love keeps me from being depressed She just doesn’t understand It’s so much more than the brand My love has been a part of my life for more than a few years My love has stemmed more than a few tears My beloved washes the stress away Each and every day Sometimes I hold on and close my eyes My pulse increases, my heart cries I sweat and breathe deep I can do it level or very steep My skin glistens and becomes slick I increase speed; my pace becomes quick I reach out and grasp my goal My love has complete control When it’s over I become very still Oh How I love my treadmill |
