Home

You make me feel at ease
You comfort my fears
And soothe my worries
With nothing but a look
From your dark brown eyes
And the feel of your lips
Pressed softly against
The top of my head.

You make me feel so safe
Like nothing in this world
Could cause me pain
When you open your arms
And wave me close so you can
Collect me in their strength
I feel my soul shine with a warmth
that radiates from my being

You show me such a pure love
And share it with me so free
It brings tears to my eyes, the
Trust and faith I find in you
I can hear your heart beating as
I hold you tight against me
Knowing that in you I have
Finally found home.

Oh Tara!  I am so happy for you and Dave!
It's so good to see you here at your 'other' home.

Home is where your heart is and from the sounds of your wonderful poem, both of your hearts are most assuredly not homeless!

Warm hugs,

Tara, our talk tonight brought MANY smiles to me, knowing how happy the two of you are and this poem just did the same.  I look forward to more of your work, more of your new life with Dave and the happiness the two of you are finally sharing.     Hugs, dear friend.

Thank you all for stopping in to read I do appreciate your kind words. As some of you notice I have not been writing much, hopefully that will change now that I am with Dave and happier.

I've been meaning to do an update in announcements or somewhere about finally getting to TX but I haven't done it yet (bad Tara lol)

Again thank you for all your replies I'm glad you stopped in.
