Why can't I say "I love you", to a man I hardly know Because there are some people, who would say 'there you go' And they will go tell others, 'that dame sure has an afair' One just not say "I love you", unless there's more to share The words "I love you" in my land, are used in many ways And I myself are using them on equally many days I said 'I love you' to my boss, when he decided to keep me 'I love you' I said to this man, who helped my cat down from a tree Once I had an accident and a policeman took my arm I said 'I love you' to him too and he was rather charmed 'I love you' I yelled to my vet, when he delivered three Lambs, mind you and he was pleased, because he smiled at me And when I get replies from Noah, writing 'Titia, I love you' I sit here still at my pc and think 'dear Noah, I love you too' Because you have the energy and lovely heart of youth I've never met this lad at all, but I feel it's the truth Balladeer's poetry makes me laugh and sometimes it's sincere Am I denied to tell this guy, 'You hit my heart, I love you Deer?' Or like Duncan who writes often, that he likes my landscape pic Telling this man, I love him for it, gives me just a kick Not a Poet, I don't recall, did I tell you yet 'I love you?' I didn't? Oh dear here I go 'Man, I love you through and through' And Krawdad..WOW the looks of him, besides his poetry? Did I mention LongJohn and Toe, how dear they are to me? I could name so many men, who touched me one way or other With the thought, I shouldn't write "I love you", I don't bother So when you hear some rumors go, that this dame has an affair I urge you to believe them all, because it's true, my love I'll share Like scattered leaves...my words will flow [This message has been edited by Titia Geertman (02-10-2003 07:30 PM).] |

 That's quite the list! Have they all been kissed? LOL, you go for it Titia, for the kind of love you spread is a first rate WORLD healing love. I'll spread that rumor about you any day of the week. |

Titia - ahh how sweet. I understand as I have a girlfriend here in town to whom I always say "I love you" to at the end of our telephone conversations. She says it back to me as well. Now some might raise an eyebrow to that. But she has done so much to cheer me on, how could I not but love her? Go ahead...shout I love you...and I will shout it back.
