If I posted this once before, forgive me. I'm displaying it now in honor of my little sister coming back to live with my father and I.
I wrote it just before the last time she came here.
It's spoken to my mother, but ends in reference to my sister.

Avenue of tears, we gather here
to swallow the shards of passing years
Used up, disposed of, and I'm worn out
Choked, force-fed on impending doubt
Perverse fascination with my desecration
you nurse your faith on my mind's mutilation
Analytical concience inside my disease
I would gauge out my eyes for this torture to cease
Always, you cling to me, torn into dimensions
Off-center, demented, despite my confessions
Only you, after running so far, far away
would drag on my heels, pull me into the clay
To be molded, bones crushed in omnipotent vice
complicated twice over and painted pure white
Send me back where I came in a stamped envelope
addressed only to "Love", and sealed over with hope
to be opened, inspected, and tossed aside
if my message is blurry from tears I cried
But it's just my perfection to lose you again
in the folds of this darkness that never descends

"I don't need to scream for you to deem me aggravation."
