Ask of me a question
And I promise
To tell you lies
Try to look inside me
And I'll surely don
Disguise

But seek from me a promise
And my word
Will bind us two
For once you truelly know me
You will find my promise
True

Question my intentions
And my actions
Follow through
I simply seek to rule you
And control the things you
Do

So ask of me a question
I'll explain the
Things you find
But dont search for
Explanations of the
Dangerous things you
Find

wow..you sound like someone else I know...
I don't think I will ask you any questions...I  am scared of how you will
answer.

besides, I like to be in control

A very nice poem, one flaw is that the final stanza kinda messes up the rhythm because of the way the other stanzas are structured, however, this is a very confidently executed piece and I liked it
