Time taps... And every moment spun by golden thread I cherish you, And feast upon the saffron verbs illumined from their wintry bed Tickled pink, With soft remembers of the feel about your voice upon me Written to be heard, Until each word absorbed and flowing of a life within me I cherish you, And could I be indifferent, would I journey past the babbling brook or settle down among the scents delighted? Time taps... Forgiving me of vain attempts in blossoms of the meadow rose Somehow streamed upon my cheeks, there before my eyes alighted I cherish you, And peel away in layers still warm, a flounce to pile up beside me Within your palm, to place select a kiss For all my body blushes, as I look up and feel awash in joy upon me I gently place my hand upon your heart, And snuggle into velvet warmth...the haven that does quiet me And I seek so deeply to be close, Time taps... Beneath your hand upon my skin to tug the cloaks of love completely Copyright Kkh 2/9/03 |
