standing on a shadow's lace

Wax’s Desire

I saw the flame
across glass dance
two together
created romance
atop green
scented wax
once solid now liquid
pouring tracks
kiss burnt air
scented drift
something shared
by two a gift
sweet melting
in it’s true desire
a life unlived
unless touched by fire
