Margie girl darling sister of my soul thank you muchly, I know there’s light and I know it waits for me to return to it, and one day I will I promise I will. Right now the darkness holds me close, for the first few days it was all I could do not to try to sleep my time away. I know I can’t live like that though so I am trying to stay away from sleep which although deadens the pain also stops me from healing. Night Comes So it comes, night descends for me The curtains of sorrow will cover me I’ll drape my soul in grey and drear Try to stop the falling of sorrow’s tear All around will fade from my reality As I accept the proof of your mortality There will be no sunlight on my soul And I will fall into hell’s darkest hole Don’t speak of time’s healing hand It is hidden by time’s shifting sand I can’t walk the path away from you My feet don’t know the way through The stars won’t shine in my soul’s sky There’ll be no truth in my heart’s sigh Nothing remains but sorrow’s sight And I feel pain descending with the night The night comes to cover my eyes It echoes to the sound of my sad cries My soul lies bleeding in shadows night No way back into day’s sunlight There’ll be no touch that warms me No smile that says my soul is free The night comes let it take me away Let me fade like the sinking of the day The night comes taking you from me And I’d walk into it quite willingly Marsha as always Mushy I wubs you too darling sister thank you for you Tomorrow is another day I don't know what it holds |

Marge...buddy of mine~ Do you have ANY idea how big I'm smiling right now? It is SO good to see you here, my friend, and, of course, this is a beautiful poem as always. I've missed you and your poetry SO MUCH, but then you already know that. I hope there's more where this came from. Love and HUGE HUGS to you, ~Vicky "...until you have read the verse on his heart, you have not truly met the poet. ~vlraynes [This message has been edited by vlraynes (02-09-2003 12:17 AM).] |

Your heart has not changed, it's still so loving and warm and wide open as I remember your verses to be from the time we joined passions. May the winds blow through the windows of your heart and bring you peace Love you, sweet poetess Liz |

Marge, How tenderly perfect. And fitting for too many of us I am sure. Bless you for being so kind and caring. Marsha, Peace and courage to you. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

The poetry this site offers is awesome... no less so is the friendships formed. This is beautiful, Marge... and a hug that distance just can't deter. Mushy one... {{{{{HUGS!}}}}} |
