I know this time will pass.
The words will come
as ever -

Yet still I mourn their passing.

And wait in the left emptiness
of their want.

A poet prays with
hallowed words -
and in their absence
silence.

Longing for the birth of another whisper; that poem that reaches for you to give it life... the silence between words is powerful and bittersweet, aching and soothing all at once.

How beautiful... thank you for this inspiring poem.  There are words waiting- we just have to keep reaching out and let them flow as they will.  Yes, I know the feeling of reaching, waiting for that familiar touch... for you, your fingers always meet the whispers of God. The silence in between varies in length, but you always make contact. And for that, we are all blessed, as you share these with us.

Love,
Moca

Words always dance in a poet's heart, you just wait to decide for the right choreography..... praying "trustfully".

(big hugggsssssss) Awwwwww, I can understand the frustration of writers block, I don't get it that often because I believe one method to getting great writing is to see things you've never seen, read a lot of books, and research about different cultures in the news or in literature! (smiles) That's my advice to you, as always your poetry is so lovely, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Eric, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

She Whispers

be still and listen
she whispers in
the shadows
turn your head
to hear her
her kisses of
