The Flirtatious Lady What is it with her Whatever can it be Gets more attention Much more than me Could it be her eyes Obliging her gaze Or how she wiggles Excitedly she plays Whatever can it be Is it her flirty look Sleeps most her day She can’t even cook Could it be her nose Rubs neath his chin Stroking her daily He gives her a grin A lucky lady is she Awaiting by his bed She does no chores Though loved and fed I am not competing How did this occur This teasing mistress With four legs and fur This was lighthearted Jealous I’ll never be The flirtatious lady is The dog in the family Hope©2000 (Sharing a little fun , found this one in my old files ) |

~Smiling Hope My cat is or was like that. My husband would give her more attention than me,and she the same... until he left and now knows that I am the one who feeds her and always did. She won't leave my bed now, whether I am there or not... maybe she's afraid I will leave her, too. hugss M |

Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting this... I am always glad when I stumble upon a poem that makes me smile.  I have three cats and they are some of the most spoiled little people I know.
