She looks into the eyes of a young woman, staring at the gifts of life. Knowing this child's life would be full of mysteries, For she see the fullness of love, Of a family, husband, children, and wife. She begins to accept what she can do, As the world looks down on her, for what she cannot. This young woman leans to the words of the wise. For she too once know this youthful heart. A tear falls from the eyes of the wise, As she realizes that she has accepted, the past as the past, but never regretting it. She learned to forgive others as she had learned to forgive herself. Without denying it or discarding it, That in her great search, she stood with dignity and composure, And yet she searched for the laughter. As the youth stood listening to the words of the wise woman, She realizes, that her walk in life would be, that of Hope and Purpose. That she to must walk with courage and faith. That the meaning of life was more then just words. As she turns and looks at the wise woman, she realizes, that, this woman was not just any woman, for the wise one, was the child's mother, teaching her the gifts of life. |

Thresa this is beautiful and displays a relationship and way of life that all who don't have are, I'm sure, left wishing for by the end. Enjoyed greatly! Welcome to these Blue Pages, I hope you stay awhile. - And so it was that time stood still - |

I want to Thank each and every one of ya, for your kind and loving words. My daughter is going on 16 and has seen her mother live a very hard life. After takin care of my Xhubby on life support for yrs, then losing our home, and watching build a new one by myself, from 2x8 to running pipe, to drywall, then canning and makin my own bread. I only hope that see has seen what it takes to survive. when need be. She has watched her older brother hooked on drugs, and seen what tough love is, when nothing else could be done to help him, Mom had him picked up and put in jail,(a mothers love to save her child) She is a good girl and wants to be different from the others, and I think that is a good start in life. I am so PROUD of her. Nan thank you for the card. |
