Everyday mother fights depression Problems from her past Have caused her condition To deterioraite At age 15 During a baseball game She watched her Dad Collapse and die On the field No one could revive him No one could save him Her Dad dies at 49 Then 2 of her brothers Do things to her Brothers should not do But she never told her mother For she would have blamed it on her So for all this years Supressed deep inside Were her feelings of anger That never subside She tried to gain acceptance from her mother But her mother never gave a time or day So they were never close Down to her dying day Now I can see why My mother cries so much She feels the pain Of when she grew up In 1989 she wanted to end the pain But before that could happen She commited herself into a mental hospital To recieve the help She so desperately needed Every now and then I still see those tears of pain A Mother's tears Will never go away Cold hands means a warm heart |

Julie, this is quite sad, and yet it has the sound of healing within it, at least for you, if not for you mother. Peace to you. |

That's not good. What is life without poetry and adventure? |
