Cool to Cheek Melting When the softness has covered and I'm outside bound the cool to cheek melting brings memories found of the mindprints of yesterdays, the footprints of past, the world in its white of night to days last. As the world slows its busy all home snug and warm. it is I that is out there in padded of form, making angels in snowground and men out of white... I love the soft flakes and their touch, my delight... ~~*~~ I remember those slow walks hand in hand, under moon and the feeling, contentment always ending too soon. It's a wish want in sharing someday, once again a walk in the moonlight hand in hand, but 'til then Sentimental, always, am I towards that goal, that someday I shall find someone who would stroll down the path of "together" and enjoy soft, the white, cool to cheek melting of a Wynter's invite... M "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." |

With a heart as loving and sweet as yours, you will find that special someone one day.....one who will love you the way you deserve to be loved... [This message has been edited by garysgirl (02-07-2003 10:25 AM).] |

Hope, it's hard to find anyone in this small town...I will have to wait until I am out in the world where there are many more varieties of intelligent men who can see beyond the physical. We(I) use to walk out around 10 or 11 at night in the snow, a mile or so to a local convenience store, get a coffee or hot chocolate and then walk back with the street lights and the snowflakes lighting our way. I miss that. I would never feel cold even then. Ethel, thank you, but I pretty much don't look for it anymore. Just when you think you have it, it slips through your fingers...there's really nothing like that first love and what you thought would be a forever relationship. I can still recall every single moment of it from the time I was 13 and saw him across a room, yet I was invisible to him. It was like a fairy tale come true, for the most of 30 years... We were the last of the couples to dissolve... I guess I should be grateful that I at least had it all...once I think it always looks so good to them when they see their friends split and enjoying a new life, but the truth is, they aren't happier...and most are divorced a second time. Men don't know when they have it good. Toerag, well you don't have to smile just enjoy the walk hand in hand with someone you love. Thanks Julie, good to see you back. *s Nan, I am very romantic, shame my husband never saw that in me over the years... Thank you for reading M |
