Both Sides Are One Both with me often The middle divides One of them climbs The other half slides Lighthearted floats Laughing with glee Other half in tears In darkness to flee Differing degrees Both heart bound Part becomes lost The other is found Making me smile Or maybe frown Laughter when up Silent when down No clues needed It’s not a mystery One or the other Both sides are me Hope©2002 |
