 Another day has come my way I read a little, write a little seems I cry and die a little while words I cannot say become images laid onto a paper backdrop on a canvass painted in my mind My music tells me I'm still alive while my God tells me one day I will shine and the whiskey makes me conciously wade through my brain trying to grasp something, anything, that will give me a life line... for tommorow We all write and sympathize while inward we seem to surmise we've all been here some of us stay here, others never care to even visit still others make it a pre-requesit and yet others stare at me from their glass house's as if I were some circus act they come to watch from afar for their amusement But lastly there's you Feel you on the dark and dreary days in the sunshine and in the haze on a prayer, and in a dream in a place thats seldom seen yes there you are through the smog and out of the fog that shields, for an instant the pain yields hidden in the very depths of my soul where I can only visit as you come back to me...again Copyright 2002 Dennis Hicks |

 (big hugggssssssss) I too have been there, and though I never want to go back again, I do believe that abiding in such that realm makes us stronger and richer with love then we can relate better to our loved ones who may be sinking in shallows at the time!
