You tell me I’m right You say I’ve got a point So why does the world Always tell me to shut up Muted So I look in the mirror And my face disgusts myself The tears start streaming There ain’t no way to help Condemned My life’s beyond meaning Because I hate myself And no one can love me Until I love myself Alone My words have lost their meaning And my thoughts divide Somewhere maybe There’s a place to hide Concealed This love is my downfall My love of a life That never stops Putting me through strife Unsettled The cold is unending Battles never won The storm isn’t over My time isn’t done Impatient Hoping for an end But couraged on By my only friend Myself. small insignificant useless me |

I could never love myself until I realised Someone loved me, unconditionally. And then, slowly I learned, or am learning. But the love is there. Just know you are significant and ..you sure can write of despair with force and feeling. Keep hope, and keep writing. Always, Alyssa - And so it was that time stood still - |

Despair and band-aids of lead... You have a way of wording things simply, yet effectively. You definately get your point across. .find your voice. - Jaime Shiva went on break now look at how much it's gonna take to make this place a space where we can breathe. |

Well written angst, Rosie. Love can really hurt sometimes, but to never love would hurt worse. |
