The dreams disperse with sunlight, It’s daybreak, The real brushes back black night And eyes flutter to conceive, As I wake, I struggle to now believe That before me is the real When in sleep More alive I did there feel; Dreaming exits and is done It won’t keep Now that the day has begun As I wake. Oh, I loved your thoughts in this piece, Professor. Too often I wish I could curl back into the dreams to run away from the "real". Very much enjoyed the way you captured this feeling. Best wishes, /Kit |

Thank you, Kit McCallum, Pleased you enjoyed this, There are days I would prefer just not to wake But sleep the entire day and another night. Reality just won’t let me. Gloom |

I wake to sleep each morning's call and back to bed is where I crawl to close my eyes in depth of sleep to hold the present in my keep. |

Thank you, Nakdthoughts, Another nice poetic response, I see you understand the feeling of crawling back to bed I tend to want to pull the covers over my head too. Gloom |
