Ho Hum

I vacillate in what I write.
And oscillate from day to night.
I cannot stay a steady source
Nor can I steer a steady course.

Perhaps it is my way of thought
The effervesce of my wrought
The flimsy of my boat of sail
The size of my personal whale

I try but I am much too small
Or else the problem much too tall
I drive my wagon in the light
And ride my dragon in the night.

The trouble is they both are old
Too cold the car and dragon bold
And I can’t trust either one.
It seems that way since I begun.

So now you know my problems sweep
Ho hum, it feels like time for sleep.

There is nothing "ho-hum" about this lovely weave of thought, Sy ... you keep that dragon purring, and that car humming, my friend ... we love them both. Wonderful to get a chance to say good morning to you!

Best wishes and hugs,
/Kit

Place another sail on the mast
And grab the railing to hold fast
Then perhaps a magic wind
Will carry you to dreams spin

Randy is flying round the room snorting NO NO NO!!!!
he wants you to know he's got lots of get up and go!!!
He says you never needed that old car ...
just jump on his back ... he'll take you far.

He says to tell you this is no jesters joke ...
he's ready to burn ... he's not blowing smoke.
He's not hearing these rhymes of being old ...
he's come in from the cold ... he's feeling bold.

He swears hes not being randy, not boastin' or braggin' ...
he says beware for there is NO "ho hum' in this dandy dragon.

JM,
Randy thanks you much indeed.
He says that he's in dire need.
He says he starts but then stalls out
He thinks he's lost a little clout.
I saw him take some jeritol
And now he's waiting for the call.

(sigh) Ho-hum seems like a pretty lifeless and steady expression to me, your poetry is more like yee-hah and zip-a-dee-doo-dah! (big hugggssssssss) You always have the magic in you, sweet friend, yay, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Sy!  Send that Randy up here to pick me up will ya?
He can fly me on down to you in a jiff,
complete with a pot of freshly brewed Chai tea!
There are days when I feel like my
'get up and go, got up and went' as well.
~Morning hugs~

Sy--I know this feeling, only my wagon is a flower delivery van and my dragon is a pussy cat.

With speedometer pegged at zero
Drippin' quarts of oil
My car ain't doin' to good
And my dragon ain't much
more than a three inch lizard
found under the hood
But hey,
It still gets me where I need to be
And liz gets us the carpool lane free

Seymour, this is delightful...lol
Your poem, as well as the replies...

And, do you know what? I was
late getting on here this
morning, and I lost you until
somebody answered and bumped
you back up to the top. I always
look for you first thing, as soon
as I get on here. I was beginning
to wonder where Randy had took
you off to, when I found you....
