Teach Me Innocence |

Show me what it means To dance again; To innocently love And trust. And show me how To smile, When hope has fallen In the dust. I have fought And I have conquered, Which I learned From all the best. But I’ve taken Fewest moments To let my eyes Find rest. I’ve been beaten Scarred and tortured. I’ve been wounded, Left to shame. My innocence, Unknown. And my face, Without a name.
