Optimism rolled over you
as your eyes , saw the colors
Had not changed
The blue was still the waves
Tinged green
The white still sandy
Of soft

“Could it be?”

with whisper you asked.

For there was new
The moth
Drawn in shore where tide
Meets low of land

Footsteps led away
In trail begging your follow
To see who else

Left hearts
On strand.

Nice. Very Nice.

I like the way you throw things into the foreground by dropping words out of a phrase, (or put in words that aren't expected) so that the reader gets to fill in the blank:
        "The white still sandy
        Of soft"

.......Ratleader is taking lessons from your stuff.
