Getting up
And going
I’m leaving
Not coming back

Don’t try to reason
I don’t want to know
I want to go
Far away

My tears cripple me
I’m weak with hurt
Dragging myself
Along this lonely road

It’s raining hard
And I don’t even know
Whether it’s the rain
Or my tears

But everything is blurry
It all seems so strange
Except for the pain
And the cold

The world is so surreal
But it’s something
I don’t want to have to feel
I know it all too well

And as the rain falls
I fall too
The sun went down
I did too.

small insignificant useless me

oh wow, I like this one alot!!
and I loveeee the rain.
this poem reminds me of one I write called Cadence of The Storm
I love taking walks at night when its raining, it helps me cry.
Did I mention I love this one? I do!

Always, Alyssa

- And so it was that time stood still -
     (blink, breathe, stand, fight)
