It’s an easy grey To get lost in With mist holding mid thirties. Yesterday’s warm Now chilled As Dakota winds Return. Simple To lose oneself Veiled in colors demise For no one sees The dull Aches Sorrows Hidden in sunless traipse Across dull browns For today It is Easy Grey the rest stay in a box |

Hi Ron, I read this thrice, trying to decide whether this is just about the weather or whether i am supposed to infer something more (like apply this situation to my life or derive some insights on the poet's mind) and that is what i like about this piece.... |

Ron, I am liking the replies this morning to your poetry as much as the poetry. WELL...not AS much....love your poetry and this is no exception and no reply can do it justice...(though Patrick sure did!!!) smiling still..... I echo Kaile's response, for, again someone said what I would have liked to and how I felt upon reading it. Enjoyed this a great deal. Pat ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |

'Simple To lose oneself Veiled in colors demise For no one sees The dull Aches Sorrows Hidden in sunless traipse Across dull browns' I saw blue in the sky yesterday for what felt like the first time in years...lol. You can have the gray! |

I loved this from the title on. *S* Of course, it's more a case of losing all the prettier colors and being left only with grey in the box for me (but my cats help *G*) Hope your skies turn sunnier soon. *S* |

(sigh) I've always wondered if gray is really a color, to me it is always more of a complexion when the colors self-destruct on such a day such as this! (big hugggssssss) This is very well-said, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ron, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you!
