Always just a moment's pause barometric pressure drops. Watch the pets curl up their tails-- a birdless sky before the squall. Silences tell creepy tales oh you know much more is said spaces inbetween the words fill in the blanks of fear. Gauging body language now-- check the eyes for veils-- observe the man become cartoon and burn the bridge a self-lampoon from brain to tongue words burn the sun as I hold my ears... I've lost my love for storms. |
