Hope January 30, 2003 Copyright 2003 Doug Pretorius I mind a little bit when you're not around I sneak in to look at your twisted fate It caught me off guard one too many times so I'll just pretend nothing has changed Your darkened smile hides a lonely pain Your whisps of hair cover an unholy scar It frightens you and it frightens me the sinister rage unearthed to be seen We'll figure it out though we're not sure how We'll find our peace in the turmoil sea We'll open up and share our love the hope we made will never fade |

That is a very interesting poem, it seems like an odd hybrid of romance and werewolf tale! But I enjoyed it, thanks for sharing |

Glad to read you again Doug. A very thoughtful weave of the difficult spots encountered when close to someone. Well done. ThisDiamond |
