I woke up today with a smile on my face
I won't be brought down
No matter what the case
I will not let this smile be replaced with a frown

I've never felt so good in years
I don't know why I feel like this
Last night I said good-bye to all my tears
I pounded them out like a great big fist

Nobody can bring me down today
They can say whatever they want to
It won't matter to me anyway
They can do whatever they want to do

Last night I said farewell to every single lie
I don't want them buggin me on this day
No way am I going to breakdown and cry
Even if nothing goes my way

This all happened in one night
They can take anything from me
I can make everything all right
Today I'm gonna make them see

I need to go type this five hundred times.

Nice affirmation here--I love the strength behind the thought as well.
